Don Rafa's Farm

Don Rafa (Rafael Martínez Martínez) was the former owner of the farm and a family man. He was a simple, hardworking man who cultivated his land and, regardless of the time of year, always had something to offer. Because of this, people from the surrounding area would often come to his property to buy what he had to offer, and when they were heading to his farm, they would say, "Let's go shopping at Finca Don Rafa." In honor of this brave and tireless man, who is no longer with us, we decided to keep the previous name of the car rental project and simply added the theme of adventure to represent what is now "Finca Don Rafa Adventure Tours." Finca Don Rafa was declared a protected area 25 years ago. During that time, 5 hectares have been reforested and another 5 have been designated for agricultural use. There is also a campground and an activity center within the agricultural area. The rest of the farm remains a reserve to protect the local flora and fauna. In 2020 we proudly received the Ecological Blue Flag in recognition of our work and effort to care for nature and the local environment.
